Heber Creeper

We went and rode the Heber Creeper a few weeks ago.  We have never done this, and I really wanted to take the boys on a train ride.  I've heard it was a lot of fun.....  I think that it has changed since I heard that, because it really wasn't that great.  The boys did like it, and had a lot of fun riding on the train, but I don't think that we will do it again :)  Brooks rode the entire time with his head out the window.  It was fun to see him riding on a train.  Both the boys love seeing trains, and they made the experience worth it.  The older girls well, they didn't like it.  There was a "pumpkin patch" where all the kids got to pick a pumpkin, and a "haunted train" car that we got to walk through after the train ride was over.  It was a great day spent as a family.

Video's from Cornbelly's

This is Cooper doing the rock wall.  He made it all the way to the top, and then bounced to the bottom!  It was so awesome!!! ( I couldn't figure out how to post this the right way, sorry it's sideways:( )

Brooks, Cooper, and Emma riding the bull :)

Cornbelly's

We went to Cornnbelly's this year!  It was so much fun.  They had so many things to do.  The kids got to shoot paint guns, guns with corn in them, and they had a Nerf gun fight where they shot at each other.  They got to ride a mechanical bull and climb a rock wall.  There were lots of mazes and haunted houses.  We had a lot of fun, and can't wait to go back next year.

April Fools Day

This is what Todd and I woke up to this morning...
The girls toilet papered the house as and April fools day joke

They thought they were so funny. I was actually really surprised at some of the things they came up with. I am still not sure if I believe Todd was not in on it. They spread a towel out across the floor out side our bedroom and squirted lotion all over it so when we walked out our feet were covered in lotion. They hid all my crystal light energy packets and dumped out all my water bottles. (This is something I drink every morning pretty much right when I get out of bed) They also put an entire package of water in the freezer so I would not have any back up water bottles arrrrrg.

So to get back at them a little, Todd put salt, and a lot of it, in there french toast!! They didn't like it when the pranks were on them.

Todd then decided to do the bucket of water on the door trick. He put one on the bathroom door, and Bella was the poor girl who walked in. She not only got hit in the head with a bucket, she got really wet. We didn't want Maddie to feel left out, so when she wasn't looking, we put one on her bedroom door. OH how mad they were. They really didn't like this prank at all.

Later they tried to get Todd back by dumping a bucket of water on him from the playhouse. It would have been really funny if they'd have got his head, but he saw at the last second, and they only got his legs. What a fun day it has been.

Solo Festival

Bella just participated in her first solo festival. She was really excited and nervous. She had to play two songs from memory for three judges. She has been working really hard over the past few months to get the songs down. This was her first time playing for judges and she was really hoping for a Superior Performance. We were not allowed to take a camera with us into the actual judging room, so I just shot a couple at home. She was judged on things like, memorization, articulation, dynamics, hand position, and a bunch of other things. When she was done, she had to wait while they filled out their judges sheets and then they gave her a certificate...

She got her Superior Performance. I am so proud of her. Way to go Bella!!!

Sea World

While we were in California we went to Sea World and the Wild Animal Kingdom. Cooper loved Sea World and all the animals at the Zoo. Bella loves dolphins, and was doing a report on them at school, so it was really fun for her to see them up close. We went to the Shamoo Believe show about five times.

This was our first time going to the Wild animal park, and it was a fun experience. We went on the Safari and did a lot of walking.
